This recipe is adapted from Betty Crocker's Frosted Bonbons.This makes a pretty little cookie. I like them with tea.



You will need:3 cups all-purpose flour1 cup butter, softened2/3 cup powdered sugar1/4 cup heavy cream1  tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl mix ingredients until a dough forms.From a round Tablespoon, fill with dough and level off  then roll into a ball about 1-inch. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Space 1" apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not over bake. When cookies have cooled on a wire rack remove and dip the top into the frosting. Sprinkle with colored sprinkles if desire.Vanilla Bonbon Frosting1 cup powdered sugar1 1/2 T. milk1 tsp. vanillaoptional, food color.Stir until smooth.
Chocolate Bonbon Frosting1 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled1 cup powdered sugar2 T. milk1 tsp. vanillaStir until smooth
